First Grade Magistrate court siting at Makande in Chikwawa,has dined bail for Four people suspected of breaking into a house and stealing electrical appliances valued at K550 000 in Ngabu in the district.
First Grade Magistrate Kalumbu Phiri has extended the hearing of the case to Friday 8 December 2023 to know the fate of their bail application.
Yesterday, they pleaded not guilty to the charges levelled against them.
However, State prosecutor, Amos Jobo is expected to the stated date to parade four witnesses against the suspects.
The suspects are believed to have committed the offense on November 10 this year in Robert Village Traditional Authority Ngabu in the district.
