Police in Mzuzu is keeping in custody a 31 year old man for being suspected of robbery at Chibanja in the city.

Assistant Public Relations Officer for Mzuzu Police Rose Chipyola has identified the suspect as Shaiko Msiskya.

It’s reported that the suspect went to the house of miss Yeonseong Hong and other three Koreans who are Christian missionaries.

“Items that the suspect stole are phones and some electric gadgets and the recovered items are worth 6.5 million kwacha,” Chipyola says.

The suspect will soon appear before court to answer charges of robbery.

Shaiko Msiskya hails from Kanyuka Village, Traditional Authority Mwilang’ombe in Karonga District.
