Democratic Progressive Party leader, Arthur Peter Mutharika, has arrived at Mkopola Lodge in Mangochi, where the party’s National Governing Council (NGC) meeting is set to take place ahead of its elective conference.

Mutharika is expected to preside over the event, during which the party will determine the date for its elective convention.

Other party officials, including veteran politician Kenneth Msonda, DPP Vice President for the North Jappie Mhango, Chimwemwe Chipungu, and DPP Administrative Secretary Francis Mphepo, have already arrived.
