Nalikule College of Education has celebrated a milestone by conferring Diplomas and Degrees upon 199 candidates for the third consecutive time.
Deputy Minister of Education, Hon. Nancy Chaola Mdooko, MP, commended the institution for implementing a multiple entry system, providing opportunities for mature entry students.
Emphasizing the Ministry’s dedication to Open, Distance and e-Learning (ODeL), Mdooko praised Nalikule’s adept adoption of these innovative methods.
Addressing the graduates, she underscored the transformative nature of education, urging them to embrace renewed mindsets and behaviors.
“You should know that education is not just the acquisition of knowledge and skills, no. It is supposed to transform people. Education is supposed to renew people’s mindset and behaviors; go out there transformed.” Mdooko said.
In line with enabler 5, of the MW2063 vision’s Human Capital Development, Dr. Elizabeth Meke, the college’s Principal, announced plans to introduce post-graduate courses in education.
She instilled confidence in the graduates, asserting their limitless capabilities and encouraging them to conquer challenges in the world ahead .
