Police in Limbe have arrested 32-year-old Steven Jatali for allegedly murdering Louis Njobvu from Machinjiri area 7 in Blantyre.
According to Deputy spokesperson for Limbe Police Station, Chibisa Mulimbika, on the night of November 5, the deceased was found unconscious a few meters away from his home in Machinjiri and was rushed to hospital where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
Following Police investigations, the suspect was arrested on the 17th December, 2023 and was found in possession of a Tecno Spark 3 mobile phone which was identified by the deceased’s wife to have belonged to late Louis.
Steven Jatali who hails from Nsomba Village, Traditional Authority Nyambi in Machinga, will appear before the court of law soon to answer charges.
