National Bank of Malawi, through Ladder to Learning, has handed over books worth K3.8 million to Ngwenya Primary School in Lilongwe as part of its corporate social responsibility.

The bank’s South End Service Manager, Nguwachi Selemani, says they are committed to giving back to community by supporting the education sector with teaching and learning resources.

Ngwenya Primary School Head Teacher, Ethel Kambalame, spoke highly of the donation, adding that they would ensure great handling and management of the books.

Kambalame has also appealed to the general public to continue rendering support to the school, which has a population of over 6000 learners.
