Police in Chiradzulu have arrested Charles Chitosi, 28, on suspicion that he is connected to series of house breaking in the district since November 2023.
Confirming the development Chiradzulu police publicist Cosmas Kagulo said the suspect has since admitted to have broken into houses and to have taken different items worth 1.2 million.
According to Kagulo, police have since managed to recover mattress, duvet, carpet, laptop, plasma screen and a smartphone out of all things that were stolen.
The suspect hails from Malambo village traditional authority Kadewere in Chiradzulu and is expected to appear before court soon.
