Man Killed by Live Electricity Wire While Clearing Bamboo in Mulanje

Police in the district have identified the man as Thomas Tsabola of Namikungulu village in Traditional Authority Chikumbu.
A 46-year-old man in Mulanje has died after being electrocuted when he touched a bamboo that fell on a high-voltage live wire.
The District Police Spokesperson, Innocent Moses, said Tsabola was cutting bamboo that fell on the wire, and as he tried to pull it, he was electrocuted and was pronounced dead on arrival at M’biza Health Center.
