Maranatha Academy has offered a 4-year scholarship to 15-year-old Bizwin David from Kasungu who scooped 6 As in PSLCE exams but his parents were struggling to pay school fees at St John Bosco Secondary School where he was studying.
Bizwin, form one, could not go to school when schools opened last Monday and was seen at Kasungu Boma with his mother begging for support.
His school fees was K350 000 and he had an outstanding balance of K90 000 from last term until the Managing Director for Maranatha Academy Ernest Kaonga to come to rescue and offered him full scholarship at Maranatha Boys Academy.
In an Interview with Kaonga, he said he believes in promoting education in the country by making it accessible to all.
“This is why we are committed to assisting those who cannot afford to pay school fees. We have given this boy a scholarship from form 1 to 4 at Maranatha Boys,” he said.
Bizwin has since promised to work hard in class so as not to disappoint those supporting him.
