There was drama at HHI roundabout in the commercial capital Blantyre this afternoon when a group of grave diggers blocked the convoy of President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera from passing before the funeral procession.
The convoy was on its way to Chileka Airport to drop the President who has left the country for Democratic Republic of Congo where he is scheduled to attended the inauguration of President elect.
The grave diggers stopped the convoy to allow the funeral procession which was on its way to HHI Cemetery to pass first before the President.
In the video currently circulating on social media, the law enforcers are scene helping the funeral convoy to pass, forcing the President stop for over 10 minutes.
In the video some are heard shouting ‘ino ndi Ndirande wayimabe’.
