Lester Maganga, 29, has pleaded not guilty to charges related to the murder of Allan Wittika, including murder and illegal possession of ammunition.

State prosecutor Pilirani Masanjala informed the court about the presence of 15 witnesses in the case against Maganga.

According to Masanjala, the state plans to present various forms of evidence, including oral testimonies, photographic pictures, medical reports, bullets, electronic evidence, and video evidence.

The murder case involves charges under Section 209 of the penal code, and the state alleges that Maganga was found in possession of ammunition without a permit.

Maganga’s plea of not guilty marks a significant development in the Allan Wittika murder trial.
