Social Commentator calls for the firing officials overseeing Chakwera’s security

One of the well-known social commentators in the country Lucky Mbewe has called for the immediate firing of some top officials overseeing the security President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera.

The call follows the incident that happened on Friday last week at HHI roundabout where a funeral procession from Ndirande blocked the Presidential Convoy.

Chakwera was on his way to Chileka International Airport.

In an interview, Mbewe criticized the security detail for failing to detect and prevent the disruption.

Mbewe went on to call for the dismissal of the President’s security personnel due to what he describes as negligence.

Meanwhile, the law enforcers have arrested two people suspected of being behind the barbaric act.
