Kabaza Operator Dies as Motorbike and Car Collide in Nkhata-Bay

On January 25, 2024, at Masaf near Chipopoma House in Nkhata-Bay, a tragic collision occurred, claiming the life of 22-year-old Kabaza motorcycle operator, Happy Lozi.
The accident involved a Toyota Passo, registration LA 9077, driven by Leah Pheluka, who miraculously escaped unhurt.
Police spokesperson Kondwani James identified the deceased as Happy Lozi from Mzizimanga village, Traditional Authority Mkumbira, Nkhata-Bay.
The incident also left a 53-year-old female pillion rider, Violet Phiri of Minyanga village, Traditional Authority Jalasi in Mangochi District, admitted to Nkhata-Bay District Hospital.
