Mighty Mukuru Wanderers football club president and major shareholder, Thomson Mpinganjira has revealed the targets for the Nomads in the 2024 season saying the club needs to win TNM Super League and at least two cups this year.
Speaking to Nation online, Mpinganjira says he wants the club to win the league and two cups this year.
“I want wanderers to participate in continental football but first the team must concentrate on winning the local league and at least two cups and to achieve those things, the technical people, the board, the players and the supporters must all play their part,” Mpinganjira told the nation
Mpinganjira also disclosed that he has been negotiating with Football Association of Malawi (FAM) and Super League of Malawi to acquire MDC Ground.
The Lali Lubani Road outfit finished on position 3 in TNM Super League and failed to clinch any silverware which led to the resignation of Mark Harrison.
