Information reaching faceofmalawi indicates that one of the social media users Rodger Kadiso Banda has been arrested duping Malawians seeking to travel to Israel to work in the field.
National Police Spokesperson Peter Kalaya has confirmed of the development in a statement made available to faceofmalawi.
According to Kalaya, Kadiso Banda was posing as State House Press Officer Anthony Kasunda and was demanding money amounting to MK150,000 from people seeking to travel to Israel.
Kalaya said Kasunda lodged the complaint to the police hence the arrest.
Kadiso Banda is currently being kept at Lingazi Police Station in the capital Lilongwe.
