Dedza Dynamos Football Club has appointed Andrew Bunya as the team’s head coach on a 2-year contract.
The Club confirmed the development through their official Facebook page saying the former Extreme FC mentor has been panned a 2-year deal.
Speaking to Dedza Dynamos media after signing the contact, Bunya said being a citizen of Dedza he knows the standards that the team demands.
“Dedza Dynamos is a club with huge potential with fantastic people and I’m really excited about the plans, ambition and possibilities at this club, we’ve an exciting squad and a brilliant backroom team and I am looking forward to work with this team,” said Bunya.
The 44-year-old who is a holder of CAF B coaching license has taken over the position left by Gilbert Chirwa following the end of his contract in December 2023.
Commenting on Bunya’s appointment, Technical Director Massa Kalamula said they opted for him being someone who knows the culture of the team.
Dedza Dynamos finished on position 7 in the 2023 TNM Super league and this season it will be playing in its third season in the elite league after being promoted in 2021.
