Police in Kasungu have arrested a 24-year-old father suspected of selling his daughter for K7 million to another businessman in Kasungu town.
The man, Noel Kanyama, allegedly contacted the buyer on the phone, claiming that his one-year-and-five-month-old daughter was up for sale to boost his business finances.
Upon learning of the incident, the buyer informed the police, leading to a joint operation to apprehend the suspect.
