Australia-based Malawian netball star Mwawi Kumwenda-M’mbwana is expected to be out of action for the better part of the season, having announced that she is expecting her first child.
The Malawi Queens’ shooter, who stars for Melbourne Vixens confirmed the development in an interview.
The 34-year-old former Netball World Cup player of the tournament said she is excited with the prospect of being a mother.
Kumwenda got married two years ago.
