Kwezy Bus Passenger Arrested with 5 Cartons of Indian Hemp in Mzuzu

Charles Gremu, 44, is in police custody for being found in possession of 5 cartoons of Indian hemp (chamba).
According to Mercy Chitonde, assistant spokesperson for Mzuzu police, Gremu was arrested this morning at Chibwaka roadblock in Mzuzu whilst travelling in a Kwezy Bus that was heading to Blantyre from Nkhatabay district.
Chitonde said, police have since seized 5 cartons and Gremu will soon appear before the court of law.
Gremu hails from Mangulama village traditional authority Nkalo in Chiradzulu district.
