Spokesperson for Salima police station, Rabecca Ndiwate, confirmed the tragic incident in Bitchai village, T/A Maganga, Salima, where a three-year-old boy drowned in a well.
The deceased has been identified as Lameck Khaweke.
He will be laid to rest soon.
