The Director of Health and Social Services, Dr. Alinafe Kalanga, is alleged to have connections to a government minister, leading to reluctance from the Ministry of Health to transfer her.
Despite heavy police presence, the District Council spokesperson, James Mwale, has declined to comment on the situation.
