Speaker of Parliament Catherine Gotani Hara has kicked out of the August House Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) lawmaker for Zomba Chingale Lonnie Chijere Phiri for indiscipline.
This happened as President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera was in the August House answering questions from the lawmakers as required by the law.
According to Hara, Chijere Phiri is scheduled to return to the house on Friday, a day where Minister of Finance Simplex Chithyola is scheduled to table the 2024/2025 national budget.
