Chitipa District Alerts Residents to Spike in ‘Pink Eye’ Cases

Chitipa District Health Office (DHO) has issued a statement warning residents about a surge in cases of “Viral Conjunctivitis,” commonly known as “pink eye.”

Over the past two days, the district has recorded more than 30 cases of the eye infection, prompting concerns about its rapid spread.

Residents are urged to seek medical attention promptly if they experience any signs or symptoms associated with the disease to prevent further escalation of the outbreak.
