Ex-DPP National Director of Operations Jeo Big Nyirongo joins MCP

Information reaching this publication indicates that former National Operations Director for the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Jeo Big Nyirongo has joined the ruling Malawi Congress Party (MCP).
Nyirongo was fired from DPP together with some senior officials for allegedly attending the National Governing Council (NGC) meeting sanctioned by the then Secretary General of DPP Grezelder Jeffrey.
He has confirmed of the development in a statement posted on his WhatsApp statues seen by this publication.
According to Nyirongo, President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera has since appointed him as Director of Operations in the north.
