Tony Forbes, father of slain rapper Kiernan ‘AKA’ Forbes, expressed his belief that the true mastermind behind his son’s murder remains at large, speaking at the Durban Magistrate’s Court where five suspects appeared in connection with the case.

The suspects, facing charges including conspiracy to commit murder and unlawful possession of a firearm, had their case postponed to March 6 for bail verification.

Forbes emphasized the need for thorough investigation, suggesting that if funds linked to the mastermind were traceable through banking systems, authorities could continue to pursue leads.

He acknowledged that while the current suspect may be in custody, his intuition tells him that there may be more to uncover.

Despite his speculation, Forbes underscored the importance of allowing the investigation to unfold to determine the true perpetrator behind the tragic event.
