President Lazarus Chakwera says Malawians should not lose hope in God despite facing various challenges such as flash floods in Karonga and Nkhotakota districts.
He has spoken this at Shoprite Roundabout in Mzuzu on his arrival in the northern region where he is expected to conduct various official duties.
Tomorrow, the president will inspect various projects in Mzimba including the construction of the M’mbelwa University, formerly, Mombera University.
Again, the Malawi leader is expected to preside over this year’s Martyrs Day’s Commemorations in Nkhata Bay on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Malawi Congress Party vice president, Harry Mkandawire says the region has been struggling with poor roads but it is pleasing to note that major road construction works have now commenced.
