South African Afro-pop singer Young Stunna is set to visit Malawi courtesy of the Beerland Festival platform.
Young Stunna who came to the limelight and his verse in Sete by K.O goes viral, is set to perform in the country on May 25 in Blantyre at a venue not to be announced yet.
“The ultimate Beerland experience is about to hit Blantyre. Join us as we deliver to you a night of unforgettable music fun, which will be supported by our top DJs and South African Young Stunna,” reads the communication in part.
According Beerland Festival director Kennedy Maluwa, the coming of the South African artist is part of the company’s vision to offer different experiences through their entertainment platform.
He said: “Young Stunna represents one of the modern artists that have rocked the African continent at the moment. It is only prudent that we bring him here to share his magic and allow Malawian music lovers a feel of his art.”
Young Stunna was born Sandile Fortune Msimango and he has worked with other renowned South African stars such as DJ Maphorisa and DJ Kabza De Small. Some of his popular hits include Sete, Bayeke , Adiwele and Jele.

On 7th October 2023, Beerland invited South African DeeJay Tyler ICU who performed his Nnike hit at Green Valley Gardens in Blantyre.
