Former President Peter Mutharika who is also leader of the opposition Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) is this coming Friday scheduled to address Malawians.
Mutharika’s spokesperson Shadreck Namalomba has confirmed of the development in a statement made available to faceofmalawi.
According to Namalomba, the address is scheduled to commence at 2pm.Initially Mutharika was scheduled to address Malawians last week following the attack of some DPP supporters in the capital Lilongwe.
The address was called off at the 11th hour for unknown reasons.
