Lilongwe Girls Secondary School Suspends Students Over Food Protest

Some concerned students alleged they were given rotten food, leading to their suspension for speaking out.

Spokesperson for the Ministry of Education, Mphatso Nkuonera, confirmed the suspension of 17 students for protesting against the food diet at Lilongwe Girls Secondary School.

Three students have been rusticated for two weeks, while the remaining 17 have been suspended for six weeks each.
