Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Member of Parliament for Mchinji North East Esther Asumani Majaza has joined the ruling Malawi Congress Party (MCP).

It is said that Majaza was welcomed into MCP fold during a rally conducted in her constituency.

Majaza is the third DPP MP to resign from the party and join MCP within this week.

Effort to talk to DPP spokesperson on the matter proved futile.
