Former president of Malawi, who is also the leader of the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika has vowed to come back into power in the 2025 tripartite elections.
Mutharika made the remarks during a national address at Page House in Mangochi.
The former President said, “I, Peter Mutharika, am ready to lead DPP to victory again in 2025.”
According to Mutharika, there are some people who want to ensure that an Age Limit law for presidential candidates is created.
He has assured DPP supporters that this will not happen, and he shall once again represent DPP during the forthcoming elections.
