Drinking beer competition has killed a 49 year old man at Binya in Ntcheu district.
Spokesperson for Ntcheu Police Jacob Khembo has identified the deceased imbiber as Billiat Moffat who met his fate yesterday on 11 March 2024 after taking 42 shots of Kachasu, locally distilled alcohol.
According to Khembo, when Moffat gobbled down all shorts he suddenly fell down and the postmortem results from Ntcheu district hospital revealed that cause of death was inadequate Glucose in his body after taking alcohol on an empty stomach.
Billiat Moffat hailed from Binya Village Traditional Authority Kwataine in the district.
