President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera inspects the Thazima Water Supply Project in Rumphi District.
The project commenced in April last year and is expected to benefit at least 18,000 people in the areas surrounding areas.
The project is aligned to Malawi Vision 2063 enabler 7: environmental sustainability through sustainable management of Natural resources ensuring improved water sources to the rural communities.
Funded by the Federal Government of Germany through KFW Germany with a budget amount of USD 4, 476, 736, 68, the project is expected to be completed in June 2024.
