Police in Dowa have recovered property suspected to have been stolen at Dzaleka Refugee Camp on 10th March 2024.
Dowa Police Spokesperson Alice Sitima says the items include two LED TV sets,sound system and other property worth K3,650,000.
She says on the day, one of the residents at the camp Ndume Makanjali 46 reported that his house had been broken into and they later conducted an investigation which led to the arrest of the two suspects.
The suspects have been identified as Steven Banda 24,Dera Levi 30 from Traditional Authorities Malili and Mkukula in Dowa.
