Malawi’s celebrated female artist Sangie, has expressed her worries over lack of unity among Malawian female musicians.

Speaking in a certain interview, Sangie expressed her lamentation saying women in the game could have do better to love one another as compared to their male counterparts.

This comes barely after two days when two Malawian female musician Tuno and Zani Challe, had wrangles over indecency outside music.

Despite this, Sangie emphasized the importance for female musicians to set aside their differences and collaborate.

According to Sangie, she sees her music as a tool for empowering women and advocates for female musicians to consider investing their proceeds wisely.

On a lighter note, when Sangie asked to name 5 female musicians’ homes where she would visit for lunch without prior notice, Sangie could only list 3; Leslie, Hilco and Ritaa.
