Death has been announced of First Grade Magistrate Mtunduwatha Mpasu who was based at Liwonde Magistrate Court in Machinga.
Mpasu died on the wee hours of Friday at Mangochi District Hospital after short illness, according to media reports.
The body of Mpasu is scheduled to be taken to his home district in Nsanje for burial.
Magistrate Mpasu was transfered last year from Mangochi-Monkey.
