ZAMBIA – A tragic incident unfolded in Lavushimanda, Muchinga Province, where a 24-year-old woman, Prudence Mupanga, was allegedly murd£red by her 28-year-old husband, Mwenge Chelanda.
According to police reports, the couple had a dispute over dinner when Chelanda discovered that their dog had eaten the relish his wife prepared.
In a fit of anger, Chelanda kicked his wife in the stomach, resulting in her immediate death.
The murd£r was reported to the police by a concerned neighbor, prompting authorities to take action.
As the investigation continues, the suspect remains in police custody while the victim’s body awaits a post-mortem examination at Mpumba Rural Health Centre mortuary.
