State Vice President Dr. Saulos Klaus Chilima who is also President of the United Transformation Movement (UTM) has broken his silence on concerns raised by Centre for Democracy and Economic Development (CDEDI) on his absence.

Last month CDEDI through its Executive Director Sylvester Namiwa penned Chilima demanding an explanation as to why he is always silence in times of crisis in the country.

CDEDI cited the passport crisis as one of the issues that needed Chilima’s intervention to help President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera in resolving the challenges at the Immigration Department.

But in reaction the office of the Vice President has said Chilima is always available to help the President upon delegation.
