Investigation Launched into Reported Prisoner Escape at Ntchisi Prison

Malawi Prison Service has launched an investigation into the alleged escape of prisoner Kelvin Mwase from Ntchisi Prison.
The spokesperson for the prison, Chimwemwe Shaba, confirmed the development regarding the escape.
Kelvin Mwase, who was serving an 8-year jail term, is reported to have escaped from Ntchisi Prison.
Mwase hails from Chinguwo village, Traditional Authority Mponela, in Dowa District.
