Two people are in police custody in Mwanza for allegedly being found in possession of bomb.
Mwanza Police spokesperson Hope Kasakula has confirmed of the arrest in an interview with the press and identified the suspects as Andrew Gauti Stephano and Justin Lewis.
According to Kasakula, the two were arrested along Mwanza-Blantyre road.
It is said that the two wanted to sell the bomb in Blantyre at a price of MK1.2 million.
The suspects will appear in court soon.
