Police Launches Investigation Into Police Officer Who Killed A Woman And Himself In Dedza

Police are investigating an incident in Dedza district where one of their own reportedly shot a civilian woman before also shooting himself to death.

The police officer, identified as Paul Mpheluka, and the civilian, Sabina Bwanali, were said to have been in a relationship.

Mpheluka allegedly shot Bwanali at her house before taking his own life.

National Police spokesperson, Peter Kalaya, stated that investigations are underway to determine the reasons behind the shooting.

The tragic incident has left the community in shock and mourning.
