Nkhata Bay Police Publicist, Kondwani James, reported that on Wednesday, Chimwemwe Chirwa, a 22-year-old girl from Chikhokho Village, left for Bandawe Trading Centre for her Airtel Money business but did not return.
The following day, her body was discovered in a nearby bush, leading to speculation about the circumstances of her death.
An autopsy revealed that Chimwemwe Chirwa died from suffocation, adding to the mystery surrounding her untimely demise.
