In a display of professionalism and camaraderie, Malawi’s prison officers led by the Commissioner General of Prisons Mr. Masauko Ng’ombeyagwadwa Wiscot who was in the company of the Commissioner for Operations Mr. Aaron Kaunda and the acting Commandant for the Malawi Prisons Staff Training School Dr. Samson Kajawo, ACP, took center stage at the police passing out parade held today, April 12, 2024. The event, graced by the esteemed presence of State President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera, witnessed an impressive display of discipline and dedication from the newly graduated police recruits.

The parade, hosted at the Malawi Police Training School, was a testament to the rigorous training and commitment of the cadets. However, what made this event even more remarkable was the presence of prison officers, who were invited as special guests. Their attendance not only showcased solidarity among law enforcement agencies but also highlighted the importance of collaboration in maintaining public safety and order.

Among the attendees were numerous prison officers from the Malawi Prison Training School, whose exemplary conduct and professionalism were evident throughout the ceremony.
