Presidential aspirant for the United Democratic Front (UDF) Atupele Muluzi said, he is ready to remove the Tonse Alliance Government in 2025 elections because Tonse government has failed to meet the needs of Malawians.

According to Muluzi, he is ready to remove the power and replace it with a credible diverse team that offers hope, Stability and predictability for Malawi’s future.

Muluzi said over 70% of Malawians are expressing unhappiness in a recent Afrobarometer survey.

“President Chakwera’s failure to lead the country has led to risks and lack of coordination within the government. The mismanagement of economy and theft of public resources has put the lives of Malawians at stake,

“The private sectors are also facing uncertainty impacting investments, without credible economic development, democratic processes are at risk, opening the door for autocratic rule. The MCP’s governance has failed us and the change is yet to come in 2025”, he said

Meanwhile, Muluzi said he is ready to lead Malawians since he has been consistent in advocating for good governance through strong institutions, respect for the rule of law and individual freedoms. The aim is eradicate corruption, ensure food security.

Muluzi vowed to bring back confidence, trust and interest from Malawians.

“The goal is to offer credible plan for Malawi and remove the MCP from power through free, fair and credible elections in 2025, am urging Malawians to be proactive for a better future for themselves and the country” he said.
