Nairobi Assembly Speaker Ken Ng’ondi In Hot Soup After Forcing Muslim Woman To Hug Him

Nairobi County Assembly Speaker, Ken Ng’ondi is charged with sexual and physical assault after he was seen forcing a Muslim woman to shake his hand during an office birthday.

In a video which has gone viral on socila media, is showing Ng’ondi forcing a Muslim woman in black hijab to shake his and hug him as he did with other women.

Meanwhile, The Association of Muslim Lawyers in Kenya, have condemned the act saying it is physical and sexual assault.

In a press statement dated 16 April 2024, the Association is urgently demanding accountability and immediate commencement of criminal charges applied to Ng’ondi for what he did.

Such reprehensible is criminal, unethical, immoral and not only violates her religion but also constitutes a grave violation of bodily autonomy and dignity, read the statement .
