Minister of Homeland Security Ken Zikhale Ng’oma has stormed the Department of Immigration and Citizenship Services headquarters in Blantyre.

Ng’oma wants to hear some of the challenges the department is facing to resume passport printing.

He said the visit follow challenges Malawians continue to face in accessing passports.

“What are the bottlenecks you are experiencing? Whatever you do affects the President and even me, but the president doesn’t print passports,” said Ng’oma.

Currently, the Minister and some senior immigration officials are locked in a meeting where they asked journalists to be out of the discussion room.

More details to follow.
