Prophet Shepherd Bushiri today has contributed maize to more than 200 families who have been affected by floods at Senior Chief Nankumba Monkey-Bay in Mangochi district.
People left they houses because of the floods and they are staying at Nankhwali and Sungo camps.
Aubrey Kusakala, Bushiri’s spokesperson said the floods has affected the people badly and it’s very sad.
Kusakala added that this is a third time they are contributing maize in Mangochi and the project of contributing free maize to need people has reached more than 700,000 people in this country this year.
In his remark Sub TA Chiwalo appreciated Bushiri for the help and he has urged well-wishers to move in and support people baffected with floods with basic needs.
So far people who have been help through this project are from Karonga, Nkhotakota, Mzuzu, Nkhata-bay , Ntcheu, Lilongwe, Nsanje, Mulanje, Thyolo, and Zomba.
