Police in Phalombe have arrested three men on suspicious that they allegedly broke into a house and stole some items at Nyezerera market in the district.

Spokesperson for Phalombe Police Jimmy Kapanja, has confirmed the arrest and identified the trio as Lloyd Godfrey Maluwa aged 23, Frank Muthena , 28  and Zondiwa Mwesera Axis, 26.

According to Kapanja, the trio committed the offence on 10 December 2022 when they stole money  amounting to Mk585,00 and some assorted items worthy MK2,624,500 belongs to Prescott Kampake.

The three will soon appear before court to answer charges of burglary and theft leveled against them
