AMUJO Annual General Meeting Underway in Blantyre

The Association of Muslim Journalists (AMUJO) is today holding its first Annual General Meeting in Blantyre.
Minister of Water and Sanitation Abida Sidik Mia graced the ceremony and she asked the journalists to promote unity and progress in Malawi.
On its part Muslim Association of Malawi reminded Muslim journalists that the work of protecting Islam is a shared responsibility.
Alhaji Dr Twaibu Lawe MAM Secretary General, during the meeting said the religions journalists need to curb hate and negative messages against Islam thereby dispelling misconceptions about the religion and bring sanity to the world.
