Medics Across Continents (MAC) in collaboration with Islamic Health Association of Malawi has organized a surgical camp to assist patients who have the issues of urinary system, kidney failure and Fistula without any charges at Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital.
Speaking in an interview with Chairman for Mac, Martin Sherriff said the development has come for Malawians who have problems of kidney failure, urinary system and Fistula and they cannot afford to go abroad for treatment.
“Am urging all Malawians to come for free surgical treatment which will from 29th April to 3rd May 2024 at Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital in Blantyre,” he said
Meanwhile, QECH Director responsible for clinical services Shaffi Mdala said the country has few people who are experts in Fistula and other surgical issues and this is an opportunity for Malawians to get the treatment.
“We believe that, after the camp patients will benefit a lot and also, our doctors will learn new skills from these foreign senior doctors.” he said.
Medics Across Continents is an international medical Humanitarian organization that provides high quality medical care to patients and peoples affected with crises, disasters, regardless of their race, region and country.
MAC established in 2003 by team of doctors, nurses and medical technicians.
